Wearing of the green

child's table setting .  see the little hats made from doles fruit cups. This is a long post but please keep reading.
adults napkin .Just to be different I raveled the green one added the chenille clover and stamp.

How about a wee bit of brew.  These are tiny mugs just about a jigger full
Using what I have .  I made the tablecloth and napkins.  I like using triangular napkins for place mats.  See the chenille four clover tucked in the napkin.  I did a white plate between dishes so not so much green.
This is  actually the dessert table with the chocolate mint cookies

Two bite cupcakes.  I cheated and bought store bought but they are so cute Mint and chocolate bits ice cream yum with strawberries
love having fresh fruit for nibbling on.See book to read to the little ones got it at the real deal dollar store.
I also got the little leprechaun and hat candles at the same store

Wasn't sure about the plaid on plaid but you have to use what you got.the child's napkin and the little green hats made from doles fruit  cups.  I didn't have any green paint so glittered them with food colored epson salts.

All that glitters is not gold

adult place setting
top hat and garland
I used the top hat to set the teapot.
I made the clover out of felt.
very delicate glasses got at dollar store a while back
long view of table
center piece                                                                  I finished reading the book what leprechauns do.  I had got up  very early to let the dogs out.  We cuddled up in my recliner.  I was thinking that maybe the Irish were right about little people. Many a tall tale were told about fairies , elves,, gnomes, imps and other little people. Some think they just kissed the blarney stone.  But what if?I was so tired I fell asleep.true.I found myself a wee lass sitting in meadow of green grass. In the distance I heard laughing and music. Coming towards me  were all sorts of little people all dressed in fancy green clothes. they were celebrating St. Patrick'.s day.  I got up and joined the singing and dancing. What fun I was having. I became a believer. I felt warm and woke up and looked down at my two sleeping dogs on my lap and realized that there are little people in our lives who love animals. I leaned over kissed them .  We in the real world are living in a messed up world and can't see the trees for the forest. We are spoiling our planet not just for us but for the little people.  Wake up America and show that we care about our earth.

This is adorable! You did a lot of detail work and it shows. Inspirational for the rest of us to get out "The Green" and start putting our tables together.

You always come up with the best substitutes for things! Epsom salts! What a genius thing to do!!! I love the green plaid dishes!!! They're perfect for St. Patrick's Day or just about any day! They would be really great at Christmas, too!!! I am going to start cheating a little more often when it comes to food. It is getting to be too much to prepare so much food AND do the decor. My family just likes to come and eat...they don't care where it came from! They're heathens! :-) Beautiful table again, Vernice!!!
