I had this blue and white bedroom lamp that needed a shade.  I found a ecru one that looked just right so I painted it and added the ruffling.  The pillow is so pretty with the ribbon embroidry. The little frame is porcelain with blue and white flowers and to top it off the toile box.A sweet vignette.
This is so cute love it.  I don't know if this was hand made as there was no label on it.  But it would be easy to duplicate.  I added the bird and lamp shade.  I would use favorite childhood books and use two sided tape instead of glue.  The bear is by Russ.
This was a pair for a dollar.I' ve the cups for future tablescape  when I can complete some place settings.  I think the birds are quail or partridge.
I tried to get close up but camera still giving me trouble.  I don't know how to reset it. My husband was a bird hunter sorry to say I used to have to cook them.
Little snowman fell on his butte.  Couldn't resist him for 15 cents.
Tuesday is senior 25% 0ff. I think I paid 1.25.I have bowls in the shape of different veggies and corn dishes future tablescape.Looking for teapot.

You always find such neat stuff! I go in the thrift store and just kind of wander around aimlessly. I need to get with the program so I can start finding some neat things, too! Those napkin rings are really cute!!! Great job with the ruffle on the lamp shade, too. That must have taken the patience of Job!!! I can't wait to see your Christmas decor done in pastels next year!!! That'll be cool! Have a great week!!! :-)

Looks like you had a great time shopping! Can we expect to see those adorable blue and white duck napkin rings in an upcoming tablescape? They'd be great for Easter!

Boy, you found a great many things and "decorated" what you had beautifully! We should all be that lucky to score so many items. Love the blue and white and glad you're using more. That adorable pillow for your Great Grandchild is perfect!

You got some wonderful things! I'm envious because I hardly ever find great stuff here. My two very favorite things are the napkin rings and that corn salt and pepper set. I love those. My mind started racing with ideas when I saw them.

And great job with that shade. I'm such a dunce that I never thought about painting a shade.

I loved your new to you lamp. You did a great job on the shade. I used to design and make lamps, so yours really caught my eye. Thanks for inviting us for a peak at your treasures. Cherry Kay
