I am a little bit Irish

When I was a little girl growing up we didn't decorate for holidays. We didn't have the means or even thought of doing so and no one on my street did either. Christmas tree at Christmas we made paper chains popcorn chains and  hand made   ornaments and`tinsel. We thought it was so pretty we  would sit and just look at our our bautiful tree. Easter we would dye eggs and Mom would hide candy eggs.

I think that is why I like doing these theme tablescapes. I can fantasize about fairies trolls and leprechauns
Today our children don't know the simple pleasure of making their own because we can buy so cheap things from the dollor store which I hate to say that's what did lol
I did make the bow for a napkin ring.

A traditional dinner would probably be corn beef and cabbage or Irish stew.As I will be the one eating I prefer a healthy meal. Oh I think I will break down and make the stew, tossed salad and a yogurt dessert.
No place mat as it takes up too much room.

No beer for me. I snucked doing the table when kitty was sleeping.... haha.  By the way my grandmother's
maiden name was Sharon, so I am a little bit Irish.

Hello Vernice!
Wow what a cute tablescape! You even have a pot of gold! I like the green beading and the leprechaun. I'd love a corned beef and cabbage dinner but just one serving! A little bit goes a long way! Your blog looks adorable! Love the new look!

I think we can all be a wee bit Irish for St. Patrick's Day! If we have a seat at your table, I'm sure we could dig down deep and find that Irish inside of us to enjoy everything you've done here! I really like the upturned hat!!! I was looking yesterday for something like that! I couldn't find one...because you got it already! :-) :-) You have a lot of terrific St. Patrick's Day green! I haven't been able to find very much this year. I really like the joyful leprechaun with his little arms thrown up in the air. He's partying hard!!! :-) I really like how you told the reason why you like to create festive tablescapes. That tells a lot about who you are and what inspires you! I think that people who grew up not decorating for the various holidays will be able to closely relate. Have a wonderful weekend, and I hope that silly storm headed that way misses you by miles and miles!

Look at you making up for not decorating in your early years! What a great selection of St. Patty's decor items you have. Kitty would have had a fun time with the beads. Love the shamrock place mats! I agree with Alycia, we're all a wee bit Irish on March 17th!!

I've been surfing on-line greater than three hours nowadays, but I by no means found any fascinating article like yours. It's
pretty price sufficient for me. Personally, if all site owners
and bloggers made just right content material as you did,
the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.

A motivating discussion is definitely worth comment.

I do think that you need to publish more on this subject,
it may not be a taboo subject but usually
people don't speak about such issues. To the next! All the best!!
