A love story

http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
The flowers pink roses for the love of his life
Toni and  the chef had a plan to surprise Sophia. The ring was ready
The menu, Their favorite
Sophia and Tony first met at Angelo's cafe when Sophia accidentally dropped her napkin.Tony who had been eyeing her since she walked into the cafe rushed over to her and handed her the napkin.Thank you kind sir and looked up at him with her deep brown eyes.
May I sit a while said Tony his heart beat pulsing. She smiled and said if you like. They talked and talked about everything like they had always known each other.
It was a mutual love at first sight. They became fast friends and then lovers for several months.
It was a lovely spring night and Tony said let's go to the cafe for dinner
Angelo's was their favorite haunt. They had many friends there. It was a fun place to  go to with romantic music playing and friends conversing.

Their friends hailed them when they walked into the cafe. Angelo greeted them at the door with a bottle of vino and escorted them to a beautiful table in the window.Angelo was chef bottle washer and greeter so this was not unusual. Angelo was loved by all.he greeted them all by name .
This must be a mistake she said as it was not the usual setting. Angelo said no this your table and he held out the chair for her.  Tony was grinning like a Cheshire cat.
Sophia was confused by it all but smiled and sat  besideTony.A side table was filled with goodies to munch on.The food was great and they had so much fun greeting their friends
Tony took her hand and lovingly look deep into her eyes and said will you marry me?  Sophia's heart beat rapidly and said yes.All their friends who was invited to see the engagement stood up and started singing amore  and dancing around them.True story or not you decide. It would be fun to hear how you met your hubby.

This is such a fun story to go along with the table!!! What a great idea! I can actually see this set up in an Italian restaurant! I like the way you mixed in a few polka dots to offset all the checkered elements. Very cool design move! Now I'm hungry for pasta, and it's only 10 a.m.!!! My hubby and I met at a wedding rehearsal. I was the maid of honor and he was a groomsman. We didn't start off on a very good note, but we have had 21+ years of love and happiness since the day we met!

What a lovely story.. i guess true. Love your sweet italian table.. What a great idea for an anniversary. I'd have to set mine up in a bowling alley! That is where I met my sweet husband. Wait, i retract that, he thought I was a sassy old rhymes with witch.. but he got my number from someone he didn't like much..and 4 days after our first date he proposed for the first time...38 years later we are still together.. xo marlis

That is an awesome story, whether it is true or not. My husband and I met at a rodeo. He was a bullrider and I was a barrel racer. By the end of the rodeo season we were officially and item :)

I love this story and I say true! :)

I met my husband at K-mart, he was a Loss Prevention Manager and I worked in the Ladies Fashions Dept. We didn't start dating until I left my job there (those are the rules). We met in late '97 and married in Dec of '99, almost 13 years now. We have had our ups and downs as all couples do but with the help of the Lord we have made it through and I look forward to many more years with him.

I love your Italian themed table that you set, so many lovely items!! Have a wonderful evening!
(hugs)

How romantic! Love the Italian Bistro theme with the red/white checkered tablecloth. Adorable fork and knife napkin rings. And all of your little chefs around are so cute!! I met my current husband through an ad in a singles newspaper.
