Love your table ... and that plate is so nice. We all need to celebrate and honor our red, white and blue ... more often. I've been missing you. Hope all is well. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Vernice! I teared up the second I got on your page. I think maybe because I just got finished watching a documentary with President Bush recalling 9/11. Even though I wasn't around just yet in 1945, this iconic photo of the soldiers raising the flag on Iwo Jima always makes me very emotional. I guess that especially as we approach the sad 10-year anniversary of 9/11 it just gets to me that much more. It also makes your table that much more special. It is a wonderful tribute to our country's history and to countless numbers of men & women who have bravely fought on our behalf throughout the years. You really got my attention with this one. I wish you a peaceful and safe holiday weekend. Take care!

Wow! Wasn't sure what I'd find when I saw the photo on BNOTP, but this is truly a wonderful, wonderful table! Bright, happy and full of memories. Well done.

As a veteran that served during the Vietnam War, my emotions are stirred every time I see something that reminds me of the way our country was and how could be again. Your celebration of our countries servicemen with your table welled up these emotions up again. Thanks!!

Hello Vernice,

I'm stopping in to see your inspiring patriotic table on the advice of our mutual friend, Alycia. I'm so glad she's helping spread the word about it, because you did a wonderful job. The plates in the first photo are beautiful and, yes, you were fortunate indeed to find six of them!

It's a perfect time to reflect on the price so many have paid to insure our nation's freedom. Nicely done.

Warmest regards,
Bill
