snow flakes are falling

This is going to be a short and sweet post as my helper kept jumping on the table and messing it up.

after a major snow storm we had days of very cold weather. One night it went down to 28 below. I began to get cabin fever. I took time off as to rest and get remotivated.
I started out with a blue tablecloth and a sheer silver overlay with silver stars. I used my snowflake dishes and snowman salad plates.Put the napkins between plates for a different look as this a casual dinner.
I used my white tableware and a closer look at the snowman plates.
matching cups. The table is set for 2 adults and 2 children. Snowflake boxes for goodies.
Raised plate for more goodies.
My fiesty helper batting the snowman. Today was 58 and all our snow is gone. What next week brings is anybodys guess. It has been a weird winter. I hope I will be back next time as I did miss you all but felt it was a good thing. http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

Looks like Kitty wants to rumble with the snowman!!! I'm so HAPPY that you are back, Vernice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was on a break, too, so I guess we were just tired together! :-) Maybe from all that Christmas decorating we both did. You put up about a billion great trees around the house, so I can totally understand why you'd be tired! I like you wintry theme going on! It totally reflects the weather conditions you've been experiencing there! I just can hardly even fathom 28 below!!!!!!! It's just about 8 or 9 degrees here right now. Supposed to get down to zero or below tonight. We have on our extra flannel jammies! :-) I like the way you placed your napkin between the plates, too. Very chic! Cool way to display your candles, too!!! I hope you stay warm and safe this weekend. Take care of yourself!!!!!

I think your little "helper" is tired of the cold too and he is saying, get this snow out of here!!! Your table is so pretty--I'm glad to see you back! We're having more snow this weekend too, I think. Linda

Your helper is as cute as my helper!! I wouldn't trade him off though. no matter how helpful he is. Love those snowflake plates and mugs.. They seem to be handpainted. The topper does make it look wintry. I would just crawl under a blanket at 28 below! xo marlis
