froggies and me

Who could resist him.? I used it for my sun flowers I am sad this week as three of my siblings are in the hospital with serious illnesses so am using one of fun tablescapes that make me happy.
I thought it would be fun to show off my frogs and  join them for lunch.  No frog legs ugh. Asparagus soup maybe a hot muffin and a little tossed salad
Love my soup bowl
Not lily pads but go with my color scheme.

Little toad clutching my fork and frog candle used for napkin ring how cute is that

center piece
We are in the last days of summer and though I love the fall will miss the sounds and sights of summer.
View of table setting              I love doing theme settings it makes me happy I hope there are bloggers out there who likes to see them. Please leave comments if you do. This is what I do best. I have got to be me. Send prayers for my siblings. I couple of tips. There many bloggers giving many tips.  Some work for me and some don't. With the quirky weather we have been having. The fruit bugs fleas and mice spiders are looking for protection from the heat and rain.  The best ones that worked for me is with vinegar.  For fruit flies fill an open small mouth jar and cover with saran wrap and punch holes in the top. It took about a week but it works.  No more fruit flies. Where you find mouse tracks fill a small jar of vinegar .  I use used spice bottles with holes in tops.  No more mice.  Carpet I use my carpet cleaner with part cleaner and part vinegar.  Fleas don't like the smell. Thanks bloggers for tips.

What a cute and whimsical table setting. Loved the colors and the cute froggies with the pretty Sunflowers, they were perfect.
Liked the idea of the frog hanging onto your fork, so cute!
and although, your plates weren't lily pads because of the color they sure could have been, I thought they were perfect for this tablescape.
Enjoyed my visit,
Have a lovely day,
blessings, Nellie

I love your frogs and what a cute table they have made. Asparagus soup sounds so good ... is in cooling off at your house? I love your plates, too ... the leaves look like lily pads to me! Thanks for sharing and thanks for visiting my site.

I am so glad you ARE you, Vernice! I love browsing through your themed tablescapes. You always think of so many clever things to add! This time, I just about jumped out of my chair when I looked at the toad on the fork. That dude looked real!!! I had to look real close just to be sure! Wow! That's cool when you can find one that looks that real!!! I have bragged about your tablescape from last week to my friends and family. I loved it so much. Would you mind if I put a link from my blog to yours so that more people can enjoy it? With 9/11 on everyone's mind, I think they would enjoy seeing something that is reverently patriotic and beautiful all at the same time.

Who doesn't smile when they see such adorable little frogs? I used to collect them as a teenager and I still enjoy seeing frogs. Your table is so cute! I love how the little frog is clutching the silverware...so creative of you.

Your table looks very pretty with all the cute frogs. I like to decorate with frogs, too. Just don't invite my Mom to dinner because she is terrified of frogs. They are so funny looking that I think it makes them cute. I also took a second look at the one on the fork, it look real. You created a sweet table setting with lots of whimsey. Shannon
