I wanted to add a little color with a center piece of gourds  in a vase.  See the little pumpkin's for place cards.

Long view of table set for five.  I wanted to use the best dishes and tableware I have to make it more elegant then usual. My pretty pale blue table cloth and matching napkins and cut glass .



I am using my nice china dishes with pink flowers.  the silverware by Rogers brothers and pressed glass glassware.



the  napkins match the table cloth.  the corner has cut work .  Ice cream to have with pumpkin pie.

This year we give a special thanks for our forefathers who made America great.  We also must pray that our government will make the right decisions to protect those rights.  We should pray that our world can live in harmony and have the same freedoms as our great nation has maintained for all these years.  Please bring our boys back  and let the country's form  their own governments to bring the people the kinda of life that we enjoy.Thanksgiving is a time when families gather together and  remember the reason for the holiday some coming from great distance and praying together eating great food and having a happy time.

Pumpkins are napkin rings sitting on a coil and using battery lights.The little bird perched on the oak leaf and wheat centerpiece.

I used paper plates and napkins for sticky little fingers.Plate for dessert. Little basket of candy.Etched glass for cider.

I like the smaller kids to have their own table.I give them a quite game while they are waiting.I use kid friendly paper plates and napkins.

pre thanksgiving

Remember this week is veteran's day and pray for those past and present who fought to save our freedom.

Dinner pre Thanksgiving table.  I wanted to be a little bit fall and a little bit of the coming Holiday. It is over so quick I would like to extend it a little.  Some of you will have out of town guests. I just wanted to make it simple but nice.  A little bit of whimsy,rustic with the burlap and sprig orbs etc. Love the tall candle holders with the leaves. and lacy reed place mats. the orange candles I won't light as I don't trust them. The tablecloth is more peachy then orange which makes it more subdued. I will be going to my family for Thanksgiving but will still do a Thanksgiving table minus food lol.Don't forget to gives thanks and prayers to our men and women still fighting for freedom for all.

Just got the cute basket to hold the candles and orbs.  The salt and pepper shakers are acorns from the dollar tree.

I am using some white plates again.  so versatile.  Green tableware gives a little more color.The little box for goodies is a toilet paper roll. I printed out the covering and the pumpkin and tied it from ravelings from the burlap.The place cards were a print out too. Don.t remember the name of creator.

So cute and so easy to make. I will fill with candy corn.

I lucked out the cute chickens 50 cents each. That is a real oak leaf.  They will stay for years and can use them over and over again if you handle them carefully.

Who could resist this cute chick? Not me

Almost forgot my fake cornucopia  Made from printed paper and fake gourds wrapped with burlap ravelings. Hope you all have a happy holiday coming fast.
