Remember this week is veteran's day and pray for those past and present who fought to save our freedom. |
Just got the cute basket to hold the candles and orbs. The salt and pepper shakers are acorns from the dollar tree. |
So cute and so easy to make. I will fill with candy corn. |
I lucked out the cute chickens 50 cents each. That is a real oak leaf. They will stay for years and can use them over and over again if you handle them carefully. |
Who could resist this cute chick? Not me |
These I guess are coasters with mosaic tile middle.1.00 for six whoopee |
Table setting. |
Double napkin |
Amber cordial and goblet with burlap bow. |
Amber salad plate |
the dinner plate has a raised design that doesn't show well |
She looks right at home on a fall table |
Menu maybe could change my mind. Just a simple any day meal. I love anything with chicken. |
Almost forgot my fake cornucopia Made from printed paper and fake gourds wrapped with burlap ravelings. Hope you all have a happy holiday coming fast. |
I changed the shades on chandy Have a nice holiday |

Hi, Vernice! I've missed you! I've been sick for more than a week now, so I've not had a chance to check out your blog for awhile. I'm glad that you put out the reminder that Veteran's Day is this week and that we should all remember to be thankful for the service of the men and women who put their lives on the line for our country. You are really getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday!!! I haven't done a single thing. I really, really like those little paper roll favor boxes you created. I need to go through the paper recycling bag to see if I have enough to fix up for the little ones this year. What a great idea!!! I'm not really crafty, but I'm sure I can figure it out eventually. I'll be doing Thanksgiving again this year for the brood plus a few friends. You are smart to create a beautifully set table that you can enjoy in advance of your trip to dine with family. It helps get you in the mood! Have a wonderful week, dear Vernice!
Glad to see you again! great table,Joann
Love the rustic look of the centerpiece. And the hens are too cute. I collect hens also...not roosters, just hens.
The menu sounds yummy...I'll be right over!
Til next time...God bless.

Hey, Vernice! It's me again! I just wanated to tell you that my friend just visited your blog and is running around her house right now trying to come up with enough paper rolls to make these for next week! She said she's going to make everybody drink a lot of water so they'll go through the bath tissue faster! :-) I just thought I'd share that tidbit with you! Have a nice weekend!
